Before reconnecting at Burst, we worked closely together at Yelp, which we helped grow from $0 to $1b revenue, with an IPO along the way. Now we work with start-ups in a different form: as the investors you can call as needed to ask "have you seen this before?" We probably have.

Geoff founded Burst Capital in 2017, before which he was Yelp COO for a decade. Geoff also worked on two start-ups before Yelp (one successful, one not) along with roles at eBay and Excite. He is a Stanford grad.

Mike previously invested at Canvas Ventures, Social Capital, and Summit Partners. As an operator, Mike was SVP BD of Yelp, CEO of Eat24, and co-founder of Stitcher and BarMax. He graduated from Harvard Business and Law School and USC.

Wendy led and scaled four different functions at Yelp: revenue operations, customer support, investor relations and new markets. She has also held leadership roles at Bia-Echo Foundation and the University of California. She is a graduate of Cal and HBS.

Rob was Yelp CFO and took the company public in 2012. He was previously CFO of Move.com, Shopping.com, eBay Germany and Digital Think. Rob is a UT Austin alum and a certified public accountant (inactive) who also teaches a course on "How to be a Great CFO."

Michael has invested in over 50 startups as an Angel, Scout and VC. He was previously SVP of Engineering at Yelp, where he built that team from 10-500. He was also an early Googler and graduated from Purdue.
